Hi

I’m johnnycougar from Washington originally and New Mexico currently. I’m more or less a Man U fan but I root for whichever teams have Americans to do well. Unless of course the American player in question isn’t getting minutes, in which case I want that team to do badly so that my benchwarmer gets into games!

I say “more or less” because really I’m a fan of drama. I’d love to see Aston Villa or Man City grab 4th this year (or higher!) and shake things up a bit. Not sure either of those teams have the quality to do well in Europe but it’s not like Liverpool was impressive this year either.

Are you a UT fan? Pretty good bball team this year…

I play soccer in high school and we just played Brayn College JV

we lost 4-1 but that’s not too bad considering it’s a college team. Our next game is on March 8th (my birthday :]) against Ga. Cumberland and I heard they’re good. My team wants to win nationals this year and I think we can if anyone wants to know who I’m playing for it’s the Chattanooga Homeschool team called, The Patriots

Hi

I too am new to soccer blogs. I guess Liverpool is my favorite EPL club, but I enjoy watching all the EPL clubs. I do tend to root against Man U. unless they are playing a La Liga or Serie A side.

Never mistake effort for achievement.

Ewww...Gators Fan

Just kidding. I don’t care for them much because of our crazy St. Louis Gators Alumni chapter/fans, but they don’t really affect my middle of the pack Mizzou football team.

Good luck with soccer. I always say the more upper-level amateur players the better outlook for soccer in the US. I’ve played since I was eight or so, my brother-in-law went on mission to Brazil and picked it up and the next year was World Cup ‘94, and now I’m an older man writing about it instead of living it. I wish I could have played in high school, but I was from a small town so it was football and strangely enough tennis for me.

I personally don’t exactly have a team in England, but find myself leaning towards Arsenal and Everton because the former’s style suits me and Donovan brought me to a similarly likable Everton squad.

No, but I'm in the system

I went to Rolla for four years, and now am finishing my undergrad in St. Louis.
